Arabescato Carrara

Arabescato Carrara offers a bold and dramatic look compared to the more soft and subtle appearance of Bianco Carrara or the predominantly white Statuario Carrara. A marble of choice in the exuberant French classical style, Arabescato was used to decorate the interiors of the Versailles Palace including the famous Hall of Mirrors. Many of the French Louis XVI-style period fireplace mantels were also carved in Arabescato.

Like Bianco and Statuario Carrara, Arabescato is extracted from the Carrara region in Italy. It has outspoken, elaborate gray veining on a soft white background. Our fireplace mantels carved from this marble are sure to make an extra bold statement, without compromising on elegance.

Arabescato Carrara is available on all our mantels in the Classics and Modern collections, and on any custom mantel.
