Nero Marquina

Mysterious. Intense. Rich. Those are just a few of the many emotions this gorgeous black marble evokes, prized for the dramatic contrast between its deep black background and irregular white calcite veining. Nero Marquina has long been used in distinguished interiors where a strong architectural statement is desired.

One of the best-known Spanish marbles, Nero Marquina is quarried in the Basque Region in Northern Spain. It has a deep black color with striking white veins. Fireplace mantels carved from this rich stone feel sophisticated, particularly in transitional and contemporary interiors, while retaining the richness and permanence of natural stone.

Nero Marquina is available across our Classics and Modern collections, as well as for custom mantels.
